พัฒนาการทางประวัติศาสตร์ชุมชนโบราณเมืองไตรตรึงษ์ จังหวัดกำแพงเพชร

Abstract

    ชุมชนโบราณเมืองไตรตรึงษ์ตั้งอยู่ริมฝั่งแม่น้ำปิงในเขตตำบลไตรตรึงษ์ อำเภอเมืองกำแพงเพชร จังหวัดกำแพงเพชร จากการศึกษาพัฒนาการทางประวัติศาสตร์พบว่า ชุมชนโบราณเมืองไตรตรึงษ์เริ่มมีการเข้ามาตั้งถิ่นฐานของผู้คนราวพุทธศตวรรษที่ 14-16 และมีความรุ่งเรืองอย่างมากในช่วงพุทธศตวรรษที่ 19-20 โดยอยู่ภายใต้อาณาจักรสุโขทัย ต่อมาได้ถูกทิ้งร้างในช่วงต้นพุทธศตวรรษที่ 22 เนื่องจากสภาพบริบททางด้านการเมืองและสงครามในอาณาจักรอยุธยา

The ancient community, Mueang Trai Trueng, was located on the bank of the Ping River in Trai Trueng Sub-district, Mueang District, Kamphaeng Phet. According to the study of historical development, people were initially settled in the ancient town, Mueang Trai Trueng, during the 14^th Buddhist century – the 16^th Buddhist century and it was very prosperous in the 19^th Buddhist century – the 20^th Buddhist century under the influence of the Kingdom of Sukhothai. Then, it was left abandoned early in the 22^nd Buddhist century because of the political context and the war in the Kingdom of Ayudhaya.
